Welcome!
Tairen McCollister's work is rooted in supporting those who serve children, adolescents, and their families — especially those impacted by trauma, adversity, and learning challenges. As an educator, parent, and advocate, I believe in the transformative power of knowledge to help us respond with compassion, equity, and care. We may not be able to fix everything, but we can learn, adapt, and avoid re-traumatizing children — at home and in our schools. By implementing inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive practices, we create learning environments where all students — including those who are neurodivergent or face learning differences — can truly thrive.
Meeting the needs of the whole child isn’t optional. It’s the only way forward. I’m glad you’re here.
